شارك المجلس الوطني للحريات وحقوق الإنسان في اجتماع اللجنة التوجيهية لبرنامج الجنوب السادس المعني بحماية حقوق الإنسان وسيادة القانون والديمقراطية، الذي نظمته وأشرفت عليه وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي صباح اليوم الخميس، بمشاركة وطنية وإقليمية واسعة عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي.
انعقد الاجتماع بديوان وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي بإشراف مجلس أوروبا، ومثّل المجلس الوطني للحريات وحقوق الإنسان مدير إدارة التعاون الدولي الأستاذ سالم الطيب ضمن الوفد الوطني الذي ضم ممثلين عن إدارة الشؤون الأوروبية بوزارة الخارجية، ومدير مكتب حقوق الإنسان بوزارة الداخلية، ومستشار وزارة العدل، ومدير مكتب المستشارين بالهيئة العامة للمعلومات، إلى جانب مسؤولي البرامج والمشاريع بمجلس أوروبا وممثلي عدد من الدول الشريكة، من بينها مصر والأردن وفلسطين وتونس والجزائر والمغرب ولبنان.
وتناول الاجتماع عرض ومناقشة الأولويات الوطنية للمرحلة السادسة من البرنامج، وسبل تعزيز التنسيق والتعاون مع الشركاء الدوليين والإقليميين في مجالات حقوق الإنسان وسيادة القانون والديمقراطية. وخلال مداخلته، استعرض ممثل المجلس أبرز أولويات المجلس، وفي مقدمتها دعم تنفيذ خارطة الطريق الوطنية لحماية البيانات الشخصية المعتمدة من رئاسة المجلس، والتي يجري تنفيذها عبر اللجنة الوطنية المشكلة لهذا الغرض بمشاركة الجهات الوطنية ذات العلاقة.
كما استعرض جهود المجلس في إدارة ملف مكافحة جريمة الاتجار بالبشر، مؤكداً أهمية استمرار الدعم الفني والتقني لبرامج التعرف على الضحايا وتعزيز إنشاء آلية وطنية فعالة لإحالة الضحايا وتقديم الحماية اللازمة لهم.
ويؤكد المجلس الوطني للحريات وحقوق الإنسان، من خلال مشاركته في هذا الاجتماع، حرصه على دعم الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى تعزيز منظومة حقوق الإنسان وترسيخ مبادئ سيادة القانون، لا سيما ما يتعلق بتطوير الإطار التشريعي والمؤسسي لحماية البيانات الشخصية بما يواكب أفضل الممارسات والمعايير الدولية ذات الصلة.

The National Council for Liberties and Human Rights participated in the Steering Committee Meeting of the Sixth South Programme on Human Rights, Rule of Law, and Democracy, organized and supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Thursday morning, with broad national and regional participation held via video conference.
The meeting was convened at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation under the supervision of the Council of Europe. Representing the National Council for Liberties and Human Rights was Mr. Salem Al-Tayeb, Director of the International Cooperation Department, as part of the national delegation, which included representatives from the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Human Rights Office at the Ministry of Interior, an advisor from the Ministry of Justice, and the Director of the Advisors Office at the General Information Authority. The meeting also included programme and project officials from the Council of Europe and representatives from several partner countries, including Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Lebanon.
The meeting addressed and discussed the national priorities for the sixth phase of the programme, as well as ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation with international and regional partners in the fields of human rights, rule of law, and democracy.
During his intervention, the Council’s representative highlighted the Council’s key priorities, foremost among them supporting the implementation of the National Roadmap for Personal Data Protection, approved by the Presidency of the Council and currently being implemented through the national committee established for this purpose, with the participation of relevant national institutions.
He also reviewed the Council’s efforts in managing the issue of combating human trafficking, stressing the importance of continued technical and operational support for victim identification programmes, as well as strengthening the establishment of an effective national referral mechanism to ensure the protection and assistance of victims.
Through its participation in this meeting, the National Council for Liberties and Human Rights reaffirms its commitment to supporting national efforts aimed at strengthening the human rights system and consolidating the principles of the rule of law, particularly with regard to developing the legislative and institutional framework for the protection of personal data in line with international standards and best practices.
