بمناسبة اليوم الدولي للمفقودين، نستذكر قضية إنسانية وحقوقية تمس حق الإنسان وأسرته في معرفة الحقيقة والكشف عن مصير ذويهم وأماكن وجودهم، ونضع بين أيديكم هذا الفيديو التوعوي.
نجدد تضامننا مع أسر المفقودين والمختفين قسراً، الذين يواجهون ألم الانتظار وغياب الإجابة، ونؤكد أن معرفة مصير المفقود حق أصيل، وأن حق الأسر في معرفة الحقيقة جزء لا يتجزأ من حقوق الإنسان والعدالة وجبر الضرر.
ويؤكد المجلس الوطني للحريات وحقوق الإنسان أهمية مواصلة الجهود الوطنية للكشف عن مصير المفقودين، وتوثيق حالات الفقد والاختفاء، ودعم أسرهم، وتعزيز آليات البحث والتعرف على الرفات وفق المعايير القانونية والإنسانية، بما يصون كرامة الضحايا ويحفظ حقوق ذويهم.
في اليوم الدولي للمفقودين، نؤكد أن الحقيقة حق، وأن الانتظار لا ينبغي أن يكون مصيراً دائماً للأسر.
30 August – International Day of the Disappeared
On the occasion of the International Day of the Disappeared, we recall a humanitarian and human rights issue that concerns the fundamental right of every person and their family to know the truth, to ascertain the fate of their loved ones, and to know their whereabouts. We present this awareness-raising video for you.
We renew our solidarity with the families of missing persons and victims of enforced disappearance, who continue to endure the pain of waiting and the absence of answers. We affirm that knowing the fate of a missing person is a fundamental right, and that the right of families to know the truth is an integral part of human rights, justice, and reparation.
The National Council for Civil Liberties and Human Rights emphasizes the importance of continuing national efforts to establish the fate of missing persons, document cases of disappearance and enforced disappearance, support their families, and strengthen mechanisms for the search for and identification of human remains in accordance with legal and humanitarian standards, in a manner that safeguards the dignity of victims and protects the rights of their families.
On the International Day of the Disappeared, we reaffirm that truth is a right, and that waiting should not be a permanent fate for families.
